Questions students and clinicians ask

Do I need an account?

No. You can build, save and pay without one. Your pass is stored in this browser. After you pay, we show an access link: open it on another device to use your pass there.

Is it HIPAA compliant?

No. We never receive the genogram, so no client information reaches our servers, but we don’t sign BAAs: follow your agency’s rules for where client records live.

Which symbols does it use?

The widely used McGoldrick–Gerson conventions. If your instructor’s key differs, rename lines and conditions and the legend updates.

What does the free version export?

A PNG with a diagonal Draft watermark, so you can check the layout and spelling before you pay.

Can I keep editing after I pay?

Yes. Edit and re-export as often as you like while your pass is active. The genogram file stays yours and stays editable.

Does it work on a Chromebook, Mac or iPad?

Yes, in any current browser. Building is easiest with a mouse or trackpad; on a phone you can add relatives and review the chart.
